Oh yeah. The truth is the most dangerous information you can ever have posession of. If you speak the truth, you join the league of ballsy mofos.
Abercrombie & Fitch was once recognized as the company that outfitted Ernest Hemingway and Teddy Roosevelt for their outdoor adventures. This corporation that used to have a concern for decency has now lost all shred of honor. Recently A&F has released two negative t-shirts regarding West Virginia. The first of them being “Its all relative in West Virginia” and the second “West Virginia, There’s no lifeguard at the Gene Pool”. Many of the students at WVU AND WVU-P have decided to boycott Abercrombie & Fitch due to their negative marketing ploy. What if your state, race, or school is the next A&F target? People will protest KFC commercials that portray African Americans as only eating Watermelon and Fried Chicken so why are so many people relaxed when a company as big as A&F starts in on an entire state. Now as someone who lives in WV I can see how one might believe some of the stereo-types but hell every state has their stereo-types. So why has the Ohio based company choosen to merely point their fingers at WV, don’t they know that every time you point one finger at someone there are three pointing right back at you? So what are you willing to do, why aren’t more people speaking up against this company who has chosen to bully its neighboring state. Please join us in speaking out against bullies and let them know that it’s not funny to be a dick!

I think that it’s not funny if it’s meant to do harm to someone, a group of people, with malice.
I also think that part of the problem with our litigious society is that nobody can take a joke anymore. I say, “you’re fat” and if someone doesn’t like it, i’m looking at a defamation of character suit.
something is wrong with our nation when we can’t poke fun at stereotypes. I’m living in nebraska, go ahead and make a corn fed joke. or a fornicating with livestock joke. i can take it.
so i don’t think boycotting A&F will accomplish anything. I think striving to have a good laugh will.
yes A&F outfitted some of our nations forfathers. So what! AT&T transferred many of our WORLD’s most important phone calls, and now they’re represented by CARROT TOP!
